| CALGB Publication Deadlines |
CALGB requires that abstracts reporting on results from CALGB studies being submitted to professional societies for presentation and publication be reviewed prior to submission in the Central Office. Abstracts are customarily due in the Central Office for review two weeks prior to the submission deadline. Abstracts should be e-mailed (in MS Word file) to pubscoord@calgb.org.

| NIH Public Access Policy |
Effective April 7, 2008, the new National Institutes of Health (NIH) Public Access Policy requires that all investigators funded by the NIH submit, or have submitted for them, an electronic version of their final, peer-reviewed manuscripts resulting from NIH funding to the National Library of Medicine's PubMed Central upon acceptance for publication. These manuscripts will be made publicly available no later than 12 months after the official date of publication. This policy covers all CALGB authors.
